You don’t really notice how people around you truly cause you mental stress and sadness until you actually get away from them. Some people truly are just constant negative and drama and no one has time for that. It isn’t until you separate yourself from these people that you start to relax, feel alive again, and you are happier.
If you are struggling to be happy and want to be less stressed, I encourage you to look around at who you spend time with, because there are probably people in your life trying to pull you into their unhappiness.
Refuse to be pulled down into their black hole of misery and find people that will bring you up and are on a path in life that you want to go down. Make these people your new best friends, because you will have days when you will need encouragement and they will be the ones that will give it to you.
Release yourself from those bringing you down and seek out and embrace those that will pick you up!
